Tellonym: anonymous questions

Questions through a profile link

People send messages called Tells through your Tellonym link. You choose which ones to answer, making it useful for questions from friends or an existing audience. Sharing the link on Instagram or Snapchat extends who can contact you.

Public answers and private chats

Incoming Tells become public on your profile when you answer and publish them. Published content can be shared beyond its original audience. The app also offers private chats and following friends; these are different from anonymous questions.

Free use and Tellonym Plus

Android, iPhone and web access are available. The app has ads and optional Plus purchases. Plus offers extras including sender hints, but hints do not disclose an anonymous sender’s exact identity. Check local prices and renewal terms.

Controlling unwanted messages

Official controls include content filters, custom word filters, reporting and blocking anonymous senders. You can restrict Tells to registered users. Review these settings before sharing your link widely; anonymity does not prevent harassment.

Audience and account choices

Tellonym is social Q&A rather than romantic matching. Follow your store’s age guidance and account terms. The help center describes account deletion with a 30-day reactivation period; logging in during that time stops deletion.
